Gojira guitarist Christian Andreu had quite the scare during Saturday’s performance (18th) at Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival. As these French melodic death metal masters are known for their live-pyro sets, a gust of wind caused the fire to blow into Andreu’s face during “Stranded.” The guitarist walked off stage for a few moments, which ultimately caused a brief hold on their performance. However, Andreu returned to the platform a few minutes later to complete their set.

Gojira’s guitarist just got his face burnt by their pyro. He walked off stage for a couple minutes but came back to finish the set. Kept pouring water on his face. So much respect for him. No more flames on windy days, guys🔥#SonicTempleFest #sonictemplefestival
