Last we spoke about Emmure, they were suggesting bringing guns to school. For the first video from their forthcoming album, Eternal Enemies, they’re suggesting punching instead. Not that there’s any pugilism in the video, but it’s presumably about boxer Jake LaMotta, the subject of Martin Scorcese’s Raging Bull. It also serves as a tourism ad for Queens, perhaps one of New York City’s most overlooked boroughs, which is kind of ironic given that LaMotta was from the Bronx. At any rate, the video follows frontman Frankie Palmeri wandering around a relatively run down-looking Queens, stopping in at a Key Foods, getting Chinese food, and walking on a bridge before finally joining his bandmates in a studio.

Eternal Enemies will be in stores next Tuesday, April 15th. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the album here.
