Bay Area occult doom trio Castle are back after a six-year break with a video for their new single “100 Eyes.” The track is taken from their upcoming album Evil Remains, set for release on September 6 via Hammerheart Records.
Castle’s return features a powerful blend of doom and psychedelic beats. Recorded at Raincity Recorders in Vancouver by producer Jesse Gander, Evil Remains promises a dynamic mix of musical elements.
Vocalist Liz Blackwell comments:
“We’re excited to be making and sharing music again. Our first release from the new album is a message and a reminder to eliminate the distractions that prevent oneself from being the master of your own mind. Our latest video pulled our artistic community together to film a visual representation of self-discovery and empowerment.”
