With their new album Venom due out this Friday, Bullet For My Valentine have released a live video of “Army of Noise.” They released the audio stream last month, but with a South American tour under their belt they used footage for this newest music video.
Said vocalist / guitarist Matthew Tuck of the song:
“‘Army of Noise’ was a song that came about during a writing session we had in Metropolis Studios (the place we eventually decided on to record ‘Venom’) in London around January 2014. The main riffs had been kicking about a while so we took this opportunity to finally put something together. As soon as it started to take shape, it became apparent that it was a monster of a track and everyone was buzzing on it. The song instrumentally for me was very exciting and I could totally see the chaos in my head that this song would bring to the live show, so I really wanted to capture just that in the lyrics. The song is basically about going to a metal show and going nuts in the mosh pits. It was a really fun song to write as I didn’t have to be too serious with anything.”
Bullet For My Valentine are currently out on the Summer’s Last Stand Tour, with Slipknot, Lamb of God, and Motionless in White. The band also took the ashes of two fans who died in a car accident on the tour with them; both families had their ashes made into jewelry, which they sent to the band.
