Tool’s Adam Jones has finally launched his first-ever signature guitar. The guitarist has teamed up with Gibson and unveiled two limited editions of his 1979 Les Paul Custom guitar. Jones has released a seven-minute short film titled, The Witness, with music he composed and features Tool bandmates Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor to accompany this exciting reveal.

Gibson’s CMO Cesar Gueikian comments:

“I’m proud to finally show the world the first release in our multi-year partnership with Adam Jones,” said Cesar Gueikian of Gibson Brands. “Adam is one of the most talented and sonically innovative guitarists; I call him a modern riff lord and sonic architect. His creativity and technical ability in music, visual effects, production, videography, and beyond is second to none, and our collaboration is a true reflection of Adam.”

There are two variations of the 1979 Gibson Les Paul. One will be an aged and signed version selling for $9,999. The other is the VOS (Vintage Original Specifications), selling for $5,999.
