Aaron Lewis is currently touring across the United States as he’s getting ready to release his third solo album The State I’m In, which will be released on April 12th (order here). While the Staind frontman has been focusing on his country career, it looks like he may go back to his hard rock roots.

Based on Lewis’ show this past Saturday (9th) in Oklahoma City, OK, he could use some heavier notes to release his built up aggression as he ended up cutting the show short due to a chatty audience. He told the crowd to “shut the fuck up” before leaving the stage and calling the night off.

Prior to storming off the stage, Lewis teased the crowd on a potential reunion.

He expressed:

“So what if I told you that Staind is coming back next year? I might be lying, but I might not. There might even be live shows this year. I can’t say for sure. You never know.”

Aside from a few reunions, there hasn’t been much activity in Staind since 2011’s self-titled album. While that record reminded us of 1996’s Tormented and 1999’s Dysfunction, it seems the group has since moved on with other projects.
