When it rains, it pours and many think that’s the way of life to let you know it hates you or you’re doing something really wrong, and that’s what’s happening to Canada’s hero and Nickelback’s mic holder, Chad Kroeger. He was recently forced to break the hearts of many fans when the band cancelled their world tour due to an “intracordal cyst” but now, he’s the heartbroken one after the announcement of his split with Canada’s sweetheart, Avril Lavigne.
The announcement was made by Lavigne herself via Instagram to all her fans who kept a tab on the Canadian couple and their love story, stating the following:
It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support.
