It’s finally happening! Tool’s Maynard James Keenan has revealed he finished tracking vocals for the new album, “months ago.” The singer has also announced that he’s moved on and currently working on a new Puscifer record, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2020. Additionally, Keenan had the last laugh with the hashtag “#whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking.”
Perhaps we should learn from Keenan by not spending too much time getting lost in social media and of course, using our phones. According to MetricBirthday, the follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days should arrive in less than 10,000 days.
Read Keenan’s Twitter statement below:
“Update- Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago. Then U.S.-UK-Euro run w #APC. If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now. Meanwhile write/film/track w @puscifer for #puscifer2020 & troll the band FBs with wine posts. #funnyshit #whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking”
