It’s been a few months since Gojira discussed some details about their upcoming album, which has been in the works for some time already and is set to be out this coming spring. However, it’s always nice to get some sort of update from the band itself that is coming instead of pulling a Necrophagist and just disappear into oblivion.

Gojira shared some footage from their studio sessions at Silver Cord, Joe Duplantier’s studio in New York City and, while we don’t get to listen any actual music, it makes us really excited for what’s coming. The band’s last album L’Enfant sauvage, released in 2012, was widely accepted among the critics and only sets a rather high bar for the French which we’re sure they can reach if not surpass.
