Earlier this week, rumors that Godflesh would be embarking on a U.S. tour started to slip. Now it’s been confirmed that Justin Broadrick’s seminal metal/industrial band will indeed be playing a handful of dates this October.
In a posting on his Facebook page, Broadrick confirmed the news and noted that “these dates are final, no other dates will be added.” Support on the entire trek will come from Prurient, while Nails (as previously rumored) will be on half of the tour. Furthermore, the dates previously leaked are essentially the same ones that have been confirmed. Whether this means the reunited Godflesh are closer to releasing new music, though, remains to be seen.
