It’s getting to the point where you can’t tear up a bible and be an avowed Satanist without people getting all up in arms about it. However, Behemoth frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski is going to remain a judge on the Polish version of “The Voice,” which translates to “The Voice Of Poland.” Blabbermouth reports that a record number of complaints were sent to Poland’s national TV station TVP asking them to fire the controversial frontman, among them a protest from conservative bishops. The head of the All-Polish Committee for Defense Against Sects referred to Darski as a “Satanist and blasphemous criminal. According to Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, TVP considered replacing Nergal following the outpouring of protests, but ultimately decided not to because they’d already taped several shows to be baridcast through late October. The show’s producers, Rochstar, called him a “warm and friendly man with a great sense of humor.”
