*** WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS NOT YET AIRED ON CBS ***

Well, we have come to the end of the Jenncity era on Big Brother 14. In last night’s “Live” show – we saw Jenn become just another victim to the evil powers of Dan. After getting Jenn to use the Veto on him a couple of weeks ago, Jenn thought she was in good with Dan. What she did not realize was Dan was in good with everyone – and once he was done with you, he spits you right out the door to meet Julie Chen.

How did this happen? Well, despite Dan making attempts during the 2nd Double Eviction episode of the season last Thursday to get rid of Ian or Shane, he used his HoH to get rid of Joe. He did that to stay in good graces with Danielle, who balked at the idea of cutting Shane loose at that time. Dan knowing he was vulnerable started kissing Ian & Shane’s asses after Joe walked out the door. He had already used the veto last week to save Jenn – so he was still in good graces with her. But Jenn started getting suspicious when Dan failed to get rid of a bigger player with his HoH. Unfortunately for Jenn – Dan used his patented mist to get Jenn think he was still working with her.

Ian came back after the Double Eviction to win his 3rd HoH of the season. Since Ian did not have any deals with Jenn, he nominated her and Shane for eviction. Ian’s target was Jenn – because he was still staying loyal to the Quack Pack (Dan, Ian, Shane, Danielle). No matter who was on the block next to Jenn, Ian was convinced that his side would stay loyal to each other and vote out Jenn. What Ian didn’t know was Dan wanted Shane out. Since Dan pretty much controls Danielle’s actions in the house – if the nominations stayed the same, Dan & Danielle would vote out Shane. All of this backfired when Shane won the POV – and removed himself from the block. Dan once again stayed clear of the block and Danielle went up in his place. So now Shane & Dan had the only 2 votes to evict this week. Shane did not have any deals with Jenn, and is in a semi-showmance with Danielle, so his vote was guaranteed to go to keep Danielle. Dan having final 2 deals with both Jenn & Danielle had to decide who to vote for. If he voted for Jenn to stay – then Ian would be the tie-breaker, and he would definitely vote out Jenn. So Dan played it safe and also voted out Jenn.

Sadly for us rooting for Jenn – she never called out Dan to Shane or Ian that he was trying to get them out last week – and the Quack Pack remained intact. Jenn had her date with Julie Chen – but it was not all bad. When Jenn won her Veto almost 3 weeks ago, she agreed to go on Slop for the rest of the summer. That means she could not eat any other food except slop! During her interview, Julie handed her a peanut butter & jelly sandwich which Jenn started to scarf down right then & there (for those of you not familiar with early Big Brother – the food punishment used to be PB&J only – Slop was introduced in Season 7). Jenn is now part of the jury and will have a hand in deciding who wins Big Brother 14.

Jenn came into the house looking like she would be a badass – but quickly took an under the radar approach – causing plenty of the fans (including myself) to say “Who’s Jenn?” While there was chaos going on all around her – she kept her cool and did not join into the drama until Week 6 when she was a replacement nominee (and an obvious pawn). Her lack of knowledge of the game could have been her downfall as she did not really know how to play – and was easily manipulated into making decisions that eventually hurt her and helped others. She said when she walked out – “No regrets!” but I am sure the “Big Brother What If” game will be replayed in her head several times for the rest of her life. Its impossible to not have those thoughts, but I hope it does not get the best of her. Her social game was very good, kinda like another Metalhead that was on Big Brother – but her physical & strategic game were sub-par. That’s really unfortunate because she has a huge fan base in the metal community and there was nothing we would have loved to seen more than Jenncity pull out the win, come back to NYC, and throw the biggest metal bash this city has ever seen!

Thank you all for reading all summer – and stay tuned for my weekly column here for The Amazing Race – where James LoMenzo (White Lion / Megadeth) and Mark Abbatista (entertainment lawyer) will team up to try and win the $2,000,000 prize. C’mon Metalheads – we need to step up and win these reality shows!!!!!
