On Friday (6), experimental post-metal band Zaius will be releasing their first full-length, Of Adoration, on Prosthetic. The instrumental band has released two EPs since forming in 2010, but their Prosthetic debut is also their first full-on album. To commemorate the album, the band have curated what they’re referring to as their “goosebump-inducing” Spotify playlist. Check it out below, and pre-order Of Adoration here.

1) Meshuggah, “Straws Pulled at Random”
A rare glimpse at the more laid back side of Meshuggah and a nice change of pace from the usual pummeling they’re giving you.

2) Smashing Pumpkins, “Mayonnaise”
A pivotal track from one of the most influential albums of all time.

3) Mogwai, “You’re Lionel Richie”
You’d think R.L. Stine helped write this song from the amount of goosebumps it induces. Mogwai are truly the kings of dynamics.

4) Elder, “Release”
It’s hard choosing one Elder song to spotlight, but the guitar lick at 9:35 makes picking this song a no-brainer. These guys are one of the most important bands in recent memory.

5) The Atlas Moth, “Sacred Vine”
Every guitarist on the planet wishes they wrote the harmonies in the outro of this song. Perfection.

6) Jakob, “Blind Them With Science”
Check your pulse if the hair on your arms isn’t standing up five minutes into this one…

7) Spotlights, “Joseph”
From shimmering shoe-gaze to Godzilla walking through quicksand in a matter of minutes. One of the best bass tones in the biz.

8) Black Sabbath, “Into the Void”
A classic song from the forefathers of the riff.

9) Gojira, “Clone”
Just when you think this track couldn’t get any heavier the rug is pulled out from under you 4:05 minutes in. Fun fact: The guy on the album cover is actually me after listening to this song.

10 )Between the Buried and Me, “Mordecai”
This song has you head banging one minute and getting teary eyed the next; a rollercoaster ride of all emotions.
