This week ends with another tragedy in a week that’s already had it’s fair share of death. TMZ reports that Korn frontman Jonathan Davis’ wife of 14 years Deven has died at 39. The couple had been together for 20 years and have two children together. While the cause of death hasn’t been revealed yet, Davis had filed a restraining order against her earlier today. TMZ reports that the two had filed for divorce in 2016, but had patched things up at the time.

However, the tabloid also alleges that Deven, a former porn star, had suffered with drug abuse and that the couple were estranged more recently. The restraining order hadn’t been served to Deven before she died, but a judge signed a temporary order requesting child custody be blocked and even kept her from the family dog.

TMZ cites documents that claim that when Jonathan went to her house with their children that she found a drug dealer boyfriend of hers passed out on the living room couch, a heroin pipe and cocaine floating in a toilet, and his wife passed out on the floor. The documents also allege that she’d been to rehab six times and was addicted to cocaine, hydrocodene and nitrous oxide. Davis also alleges that his wife would bring home drug buddies, some of whom were strangers, that were fans of his music and let them try on his clothes. His wife had allegedly been in a halfway house for sober people, but left and hadn’t been seen in a week.

Davis’ family has released a statement:

“The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis. We ask that you respect their privacy — and the privacy of those close to the family — and allow them the space to mourn in private. We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time.”

This is a developing story, and our hearts go out to family and friends of Jonathan Davis.
