We are saddened to hear the news of the passing of Dead Kennedys drummer D.H. Peligro. The artist, who also had a brief career with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and worked live with a number of acts, including Nailbomb, suffered an accidental fall in his Los Angeles home on Friday, October 28th. The news of the 63-year-old drummer’s passing was confirmed by the band in a social media post on Saturday (29th), stating:
“Dead Kennedys’ drummer D.H. Peligro (Darren Henley) passed away in his Los Angeles home yesterday, Oct 28th. He died from trauma to his head from an accidental fall. Arrangements are pending will be announced in the coming days. Thank you for your thoughts and words of comfort.”
