Megadeth’s bassist David Ellefson recently announced the launch of his own label, EMP Records. The label is an imprint of Megaforce, home of bands like Anthrax and Bad Brains. Along with the announced, the label already signed the first band in its roster, teenage ‘glitter punk’ outfit, Doll Skin. Ellefson said about the signing:

When I was first introduced to Doll Skin, I knew there was something really special there. Through working with them as a producer, it became even more apparent what these girls were capable of. I’m really excited to be working with them, and able to unleash them on the world, through Megaforce, no less.

Doll Skin is a new band comprised by teenage girls ranging from 15 to 18 years old and already have an EP ready to be released on October 30th titled “In Your Face” which Ellefson himself will produce. Check out the video below where you can see Ellefson in the studio with the band.
