It was just yesterday when information about a new Ghost record leaked; album title (Meliora), producer (Klas Ahlund), mixer (Andy Wallace) and a song title (“Cirice”). However, the band “apparently” knows nothing of such a new release, and posted a statement on the Ghost Facebook page:

Children of the world!
We are apparently releasing an album soon. Can anyone please give us the title and the release date?

Details of a new Ghost album were mentioned in a recent issue of Sweden Rock Magazine, so it’s uncertain what exactly is going on here. It’s fun to see the band continue to play around with conventions and react to the blogosphere. If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that the band is totally fucking with us.
