Nikki Sixx pens powerful LA Times Op-Ed on his addiction and modern opioid epidemic

Nikki Sixx recently revealed his first ever photography gallery, in collaboration with Leica Camera, entitled Conversations with Angels will kick off on October 4th in Los Angeles. Sixx will also be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of his New York Times Bestselling novel, The Heroin Diaries. The reissue will include two new updated chapters and it arrives on October 24th.

Additionally, SIXX: A.M. will be releasing a tenth anniversary edition of The Heroin Diaries soundtrack via Eleven Seven Music on October 27th. The soundtrack includes three newly reimagined tracks such as “Life Is Beautiful. Pre-orders are available now via PledgeMusic.

Based on his addiction history, the bassist teamed up with the Los Angeles Times in an op-ed taking on America’s opioid epidemic from a recovering addict’s perspective.

Sixx expressed:

“Opioid abuse isn’t just making addicts sick, it’s making America sick.”
