The unidentified woman who had her lawsuit against shock rocker, Marilyn Manson, dismissed by a judge recently has refiled her suit against him. The original lawsuit was dismissed by a California Superior Court Judge because of concerns over the statute of limitations having expired as well as the woman’s suppressed memories, regarding the incidents, not being sufficient enough to invoke a delayed discovery rule. The anonymous accuser claims that Manson raped her and threatened her life in 2011.

Today the unidentified woman provided an amended complaint with even more detail. The woman claims that repressed memories began to come back to her after reading similar allegations made by a number of women against Manson earlier this year. Since February, more than a dozen women have come forward with disturbing allegations against Manson, including his ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood. Manson has denied these allegations. His legal team has alleged that several of the women are, “co-conspirators”, claiming they were “desperately trying to conflate the imagery and artistry of Brian Warner’s ‘shock rock’ stage persona, ‘Marilyn Manson,’ with fabricated accounts of abuse.”
