It’s bad enough that Mondays exist and now, Google has made this day even worse. At least for die-hard Tool fans. Earlier this morning (16th), Google informed everyone that the band’s new album was released today via Google Alert stating, “IllutionWorld by Tool was released today.”
It’s been twelve years since the group released 2006’s 10,000 Days and we heard at least 10,000 updates since making it feel like an eternity for the new album to arrive. Therefore, many fans were furious about this false report. It turns out that IllutionWorld does exist as it’s an album by a Soundcloud rapper called TOOL$ and has absolutely nothing to do with the news we were hoping for.
