Legendary rockers Foo Fighters have postponed an upcoming LA show after a member of their organization was confirmed to have Covid-19. The Foos released this statement:

“Despite having made every effort to follow CDC Covid protocols and local laws, there has been a confirmed Covid-19 case within the FOO FIGHTERS organization.

Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, Saturdays show at the Los Angeles Forum is being postponed to a later date. The new date will be announced shortly. Tickets for the July 17th date will be honored for the new date.”

Foo Fighters were going to bring live music to yet another city for the first time in over a year. You may recall we reported on the Foos bringing live music back to the iconic Madison Square Garden in NYC after over a year of silence and having the first full capacity live music show there in over 15 months on June 20th. Well, the July 17th show at the LA Forum was supposed to end the silence in Los Angeles, but alas the global pandemic is not through with us just yet. Original tickets purchased for the concert will be honored when the new date is announced.

Meanwhile Foo Fighters will travel to the frozen tundra of Alaska for three shows. These shows have been added to a run that began on June 20th at MSG.

Be there to witness the Foos first time ever at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage on August 17 and 19, and at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks on August 21st.
