Finnish gothic metal supergroup For My Pain… are reuniting after two decades, marking their comeback exactly 20 years since their debut album, Fallen, released in 2003. The band, known for catchy songs and enchanting melodies, gained attention across the metal scene before ceasing activity in 2005 after the release of the Killing Romance EP. For My Pain… has confirmed that the intervening years were not idle, and they plan to release newly composed singles in 2024.
Vocalist Juha Kylmänen commented:
“The original atmosphere, which made leaves wither from the trees, is here again. Are you ready for the beautiful world with black and grey tones only?”
The reunion brings new music and includes touring plans, with the official comeback show scheduled for May 3, 2024, at Kantakrouvi in Oulu, Finland. The current lineup features original members along with some changes: vocalist Juha Kylmänen, guitarist Lauri Tuohimaa, guitarist Olli-Pekka Törrö, bassist Altti Veteläinen, keyboardist Marco Sneck, and drummer Ari-Matti Pohjola.
