Inferno Metal Festival Norway 2024, set to commence on March 28 – 31, 2024 across various Oslo venues, will now feature the legendary Norwegian black metal outfit Dimmu Borgir as headliners (tickets available here). The festival lineup includes a mix of classic and newer acts, with recently announced bands such as Arthur Brown, Bell Witch, Me and That Man, Mantar, Befouled, Zustand Null, Visegard, Koldbrann, and more to be revealed soon.
As part of the Inferno Metal Festival experience, the Black Metal Bus Sightseeing Tour with Anders Odden (Cadaver, Celtic Frost, Order) returns with a new routing. The tour, departing from the Inferno Festival hotel, will guide attendees through key locations in the early days of Norwegian black metal, including the historic site of Helvete, once owned by Mayhem’s late founder Øystein “Euronymous” Aarseth.
Tour Itinerary:
- 12:00: Departure from The Hub, Inferno Festival hotel.
- 12:30: Langhus station – Photo op – IYKYK.
- 13:30: Visit to NESEBLOD RECORDS, the site of “HELVETE” 1991-1993.
- 15:00: Holmenkollen Kapell, reconstructed after the church fire in 1992.
- 16:00: Return to The Hub, Inferno Festival hotel.

Additionally, the official festival hotel is once again Clarion Hotel The Hub. Festival-related activities, parties, and accommodations will be centered at Clarion The Hub, providing a central hub for festival attendees, artists, media, and music industry personnel. The Inferno Music Conference will precede the festival, with more details to be revealed soon. Hotel guests will enjoy an inclusive breakfast buffet, open until 11:00 A.M., and complimentary access to the swimming pool and sauna.
