It has been a tumultuous few years for The Haunted. They lost three-fifths of their lineup, following one of the most heavily-criticized albums of their career, and there was uncertainty as to whether the band would even continue. Fast-forward to now, though, and it seems like The Haunted are poised to come back in a huge way. The band’s lineup has been revitalized (thanks to a few familiar faces), and they are now preparing to release their eighth album, Exit Wounds.  The album isn’t due out until September 2nd, but some tracks from the album have already made their way to listeners’ ears. “Cutting Teeth” came out nearly a month ago, and today, a second new song joins the ranks.

Our friends at MetalSucks premiered “Time (Will Not Heal)” earlier this morning for your listening pleasure. It’s a bruiser, for sure, with an opening riff that just sucks you in and doesn’t let go. Marco Aro’s vocals sound just as fierce and passionate as they did on the band’s earlier albums Made Me Do It and One Kill Wonder. This should definitely bring back any naysayers that stopped listening to the band after their last album. If you’re one of those naysayers, then you need to give this song a spin and hear its excellence for yourself. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
