Ever wanted to hear Phil Anselmo sing some classic Celtic Frost? Well, you’re in luck, because Corpse Flower Records is putting out a compilation called Morbid Tales: A Tribute to Celtic Frost. For the first taste listen below to Phil Anselmo singing with Child Bite covering Celtic Frost’s “The Usuper” from 1985’s To Mega Therion.

In addition to that gem you’ll get Acid Witch covering Cherry Orchards,” Municipal Waste covering, “Nocturnal Fear,” Hayward (featuring Scott Kelly and Jason Roeder of Neurosis) covering “Jewel Throne” and more. Eight tracks in all, including two bonus tracks; an MP3 of Black Anvil doing “Dethroned Emperor” and a limited edition (just 100!) flexi-disc of Coffins Slave covering Hellhammer’s “Reaper.”
