The highly anticipated new album from Slayer just got a name and a release date: it’s called Repentless and it comes out on September 11th.
Said Kerry King in an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year about the new album:
“I know there’s gonna be naysayers. I know there’s gonna be people expecting us to fail, because so many things changed in the last six years. I’m prepared for that ’cause I know humans are just retards when they get on the Internet. But I know we put a good product together. I’m proud of it.”
The 12 track Repentless will be the first Slayer album without founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman, who passed away in 2013, and it will be a return for drummer Paul Bostaph, who last appeared on Slayer’s God Hates Us All, which also came out on September 11th, back in 2001.
