Nick Augusto, the former drummer of Trivium, is wrapping up recording an EP with his currently unnamed project. The EP is being produced by Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, In Flames), and new music is to be released next week. Augusto took to Twitter to announce that music would be coming. It’s not known who the other guys in his band are that appear in the photo, which Augusto posted on his Twitter account in December.
Augusto was relieved of his duties in Trivium after five years in the band. He’d started as the band’s drum tech for Travis Smith before taking over duties in 2009.
