Imonolith (Threat Signal, ex-Strapping Young Lad, ex-DTP) stream new demo track “The Reign”

Imonolith, the new project featuring vocalist Jon Howard (Threat Signal), guitarist Jed Simon (ex-Strapping Young Lad), bassist/guitarist Brian Waddell (ex-Devin Townsend Project), bassist Byron Stroud (ex-Strapping Young Lad), and drummer Ryan van Poederooyen (ex-Devin Townsend Project) have unveiled the first taste of their music with a demo version of the song “The Reign.” According to the track’s description, the group who are still in the early stages of forming the band, have decided to publicly share this demo after receiving a lot of votes from their supporters.  

The band explained:

‘The Reign’ is about how society can negatively influence the mass majority. Life is all about living it your own way and not trying to be someone you’re not. Be yourself. This may be an aggressive and heavy sounding song, but it has a positive underlying message.”

Their aesthetic is a mix between heavy and melodic as we should expect to hear more creative riffs.
