If you’re going to walk away from a successful band to focus on your own, the end result better be worth it. But when that band is Crowbar and you’re Kirk Windstein, it’s pretty much a guarantee that it’ll be good. As soon as “Walk With Knowledge Wisely,” the first taste of their 10th album Symmetry in Black, starts with pounding drums, it’s confirmed. The five and a half minute song is streaming on Soundcloud now, and with no disrespect at all to Down, by the sludgy end of the song, it’s understandable why Windstein decided to shift 100% of his attention to the band he founded, especially given that their 25th anniversary is coming up this year. Check the song out below, and pick up Symmetry in Black on May 27th (or pre-order it here).
