Singer Tony Martin’s time in Black Sabbath has been unfairly overlooked, with 1989’s Headless Cross considered by many as one of Sabbath’s most underrated non-Ozzy albums. Since leaving Sabbath, Martin has been working nonstop on new music. One of his most acclaimed projects has been The Cage, formed in 1999 with Italian guitarist/producer Dario Mollo (who has played with the likes of Glenn Hughes, Graham Bonnet, Don Airey, and numerous others). It’s been ten years since the release of their sophomore album. This Tuesday (January 24), though, Mollo and Martin’s collaboration will release their third long-awaited album The Third Cage via Frontier Records.
However, we’re ecstatic to give you a taste of the album one day before it hits stores. That’s right, for a limited time, you can stream Mollo and Martin’s The Third Cage in its entirety exclusively here at Metal Insider. So give the album a listen in the player below, and don’t forget to pick up a copy of The Third Cage tomorrow, January 24, at all physical and digital outlets.
