Lunar (ft. Witherfall and Helion Prime members), a progressive metal band from Sacramento, California, USA, is set to release their highly-anticipated fourth album, The Illusionist, on March 3rd, via Saibot Reign Records. The album features some guest collaborators, including Jørgen Munkeby (Shining), Christian Münzner (Obscura), Andy Gillion (Mors Principium Est), Taylor Washington (Paladin), Sam Vallen (Caligula’s Horse), Ben Karas (Thank You Scientist), Gleb Kanasevich, and Patrick Corona. It is already promised to be the band’s best work yet.

Described as a magical concept album that pairs creative metaphors with relatable life experiences, The Illusionist tells the story of a magician who questions the value of his life’s work. Musically, the record will take listeners on an emotional joyride with moments of anger, confusion, and despair. Lunar’s commitment to creating music that is personally meaningful to them is evident in their latest offering. Today (2nd), the group has teamed up with Metal Insider for an early album stream.
