Metallica_-_Master_of_Puppets_coverToday one of the most important albums in the history of metal was released. It was the album that broke Metallica, and while it never made it higher than 29 on the charts, quietly went gold. Actually, there was nothing quiet about it. According to Billboard, Master sold 300,000 copies in it’s first three weeks. We’ve already written about the album today, and it’s pretty much in the DNA of any metal fan, so much that the eight songs on the album have been covered repeatedly. So when you’re done listening to the original album, check out these covers of the songs on the album.
