If you like doom metal, one of the things that you probably appreciate the most about it is how the slow, sludgy grooves can kind of put you in a trancelike state. However, a show attendee at a secret 3AM New Year’s Eve eve show by doom band Forn took it to an extreme, passing out onstage as the band played their entire set. It was enough for Spin to take notice. Maybe the guy thought he was going to a Sleep show ( we got jokes). More likely, he was really drunk and/or high. 3AM is a ridiculously late set time, especially if you’ve been pounding drinks for the last seven hours. While he doesn’t move from his spot the entire show, he does at least move a little bit.
In a since-deleted comment on the band’s Facebook page, the passed-out dude apparently commented, saying: “Hey I’m that guy and I’m still alive unfortunately, I really dug everything I heard though even though I looked like the Minor threat guy.” Thankfully, Pit Full of Shit got the whole thing on video, which you can see below.
