If you want to get technical, every month is metal month. However, if we want to go with recent history, March has been designated Metal Month. Amazon seems to have gotten the memo, as they’ve come up with a list of 521 albums to pick up for $5.99 and less. This is a pretty all-encompassing list. Everything from current music like Gojira’s L’enfant Sauvage, Holy Grail’s Ride the Void and Hatebreed’s The Divinity of Purpose to classic albums like Appetite for Destruction, Anthrax’s Among the Living and Opeth’s Still Life. This is a great way to show your support of metal and fill holes in your music collection. It’s also a valid reason for some of the ridiculous spikes in sales that you might have noticed at Metal By Numbers yesterday. You can see the whole list here.
