Remember that awesome isolated vocal track of Van Halen’s “Running With the Devil” that captured David Lee Roth in all his raw glory a few years ago? Someone has finally put it to good use. Audio engineer Dave Rogge has fashioned a “Roth Scream Box” that’s self-explanatory, and also amazing. Hit the big glowing red button, get a snippet of Roth singing, yelling, or whistling at you. Rogge put together the box using the Arduino open-source electronic prototyping tools. If you’re handy enough, you can make your own, but he’ll eventually be selling his own via his Etsy shop.
