Ever since we got swindled by that pesky Chuck Biscuits rumor, we’ve been a little wary, but it appears that the metal world may have lost a bit player. Keri Lee, best known as “Miss Box of Junk” from VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show, apparently was found dead at her New York apartment yesterday. She was 25. During the “Stump the Trunk” segment of the show, any contestant that was able to ask a question host Ed Trunk couldn’t answer won a prize from Trunk’s ‘Box of Junk,’ which was presented to them by Lee. That Metal Show recently wrapped up their second season. While there’s been no official confirmation, Trunk’s Twitter page has the following post:
“Woke up in LA today to hear the horrible news that Keri Lee, miss box of junk on TMS, has passed away. More news when I get it.”
