While details are still hazy, Lazarus A.D. drummer Ryan Shutler has died at the age of 29, Lambgoat reports. The drummer of the Kenosha, WI band was only 28 years old. It’s thought that a heart attack might have been the cause of death. We’ll continue to update this sad story as we hear more. Lazarus A.D. formed in 2005, and have maintained the same lineup since. Their second and most recent album, Black Rivers Flow, was released in 2011 on Metal Blade, and their singer/bassist had written a sporadic column, “Let’s Get Real,” for Metal Insider. Our thoughts are with Shutler’s family, friends and bandmates.
