Dee Snider ran out on stage wearing a shirt that read “STOP TAKING SELFIES” and proceeded to run the band’s classic lineup through Stay Hungry in its tidy-yet-frantic entirety. Along the way, he reminded everyone why Twisted Sister was such a vital band in its heyday and also suggested that the past was more present than the average person would think. Still up to the stage-tumbling, explosive antics that mixed the danger of Iggy Pop with the theatrics of Alice Cooper so many years ago, Snider performed with a hunger a whole lot of young frontmen would kill for, and it was spellbinding to watch.
