What could be better than having a few drinks at your favorite local bar on a Wednesday night while an awesome band like Cynic serenades you with an acoustic set? Just a few days before their headlining performance at the inaugural Metal Suckfest, the prog rock band will be throwing a release party at NYC’s Idle Hands Bar tomorrow night (Wednesday, November 2). Not only will Cynic be holding a meet and greet and signing copies of their new EP Carbon Based Anatomy, but they’ll also be performing an acoustic set. That’s right, Cynic unplugged!
While it’s a 21+ event, there’s no cover charge at the door. Plus, this will be your chance to get an early taste of Carbon Based Anatomy, which doesn’t officially come out until November 15. So if you’re in the New York area, make sure to be at Cynic’s very special release party tomorrow night, November 2, at Idle Hands Bar (on 25 Avenue B, between 2nd and 3rd Street).
