Avenged Sevenfold are streaming something next week

Posted by on October 20, 2016

Avenged Sevenfold are one of the more bombastic rock/metal bands out there. It’s very obvious that they draw inspiration from Metallica (maybe a little too much according to Machine Head’s Robb Flynn), but the over-the-topness of Guns N’ Roses is another obvious influence they draw from. At any rate, as big a band as Avenged Sevenfold are, they’re playing a really small place next Thursday – your computer or phone screen. from their website:

On October 27th we will be performing on a very grand stage for the entire world to enjoy. Secure your front row seat by joining us on our Facebook page at precisely 8:30PM PDT on the 27th. You’ll also be able to watch in 3D 360° and Virtual Reality on AvengedSevenfold.com. This is a MUST SEE live streamed event for fans across the world that you will not want to miss!!!! #A7XOCT27LIVE

Well then. Actually, it appears the event will be in Los Angeles, as it goes on to say the following:

Los Angeles fans you WILL NOT want to miss this once in a lifetime event on Thursday OCT 27th!!! RSVP to attend here: http://smarturl.it/A7XLARSVP. For more info on this MUST SEE event visit http://smarturl.it/A7XOCT27LIVE.

They’re not saying what it is, but we were to make an outlandish bet, we’d say that they’ll be playing on the roof of L.A.’s iconic Capitol Records Building to celebrate their signing with a new label. Totally just us spitballing here, but that’d be kind of amazing, no?
