Distributor MetalHit, whose catalog includes numerous releases from underground artist and labels, has announced it is shifting the price of 95% of its digital releases to a $5.25 price point. From the label:

We are pleased to announce that our entire catalog of releases are now just $5.25 for full albums!!! We decided to make this change after studying the opinions of buyers of digital music. A rare handful of titles from labels outside of our influence will have albums available at alternative prices in our store, however, about 95% or more are available for only $5.25!

Is $5.25 a good price point for metal albums? With most of these releases being from unknowns, is 5-bucks low enough for you take a chance on these releases? Is Metalhit they selling themselves too low? Sound off in the comments!
