sabbathcontestAs you all know by now, Black Sabbath is on tour for the last time ever. The first leg of their “The End” tour continues on for most of the rest of the month, wrapping up on February 27th at Madison Square Garden. And while you can pick up a limited edition CD featuring four 13 b-sides and four live tracks at those shows, Rhino just re-released the band’s first three albums, 1970’s Black Sabbath and Paranoid and 1971’s Master of Reality, as deluxe two-disc versions.

Even as single-disc versions, these are must-owns for anyone remotely interested in heavy music. “War Pigs,” “Sweet Leaf,” “The Wizard,” “Children of the Grave,” “Iron Man,” the hits from the band that invented heavy metal as we know it go on and on. Each album has a disc of bonus tracks that were previously unavailable in America. Versions with alternate lyrics, instrumental versions, and even a few actual songs that haven’t been heard before. Rhino also released Past Lives, a double live album that’s been out of print for years now.

We’re giving you a chance to pick up all four of the two-disc versions of the album on CD, as well as an amazing fl0cked print of the Master of Reality cover that’s instantly suitable for framing. We’ll be picking a winner at random on Thursday, 2/25, or the day they play their first show at Madison Square Garden. Just enter below for a chance to win. You can also head over to Metal Sucks and Metal Injection for bonus chances to win. Note: due to a glitch in the contesting form, you might be told you’ve already entered the contest. Your entry will still be received.
