3. Having a Sounding Board – This is a less obvious one, but for a self managed band like us, it’s very important. It’s vital to have a group of people to bounce ideas off of. I’m not that brilliant or experienced that I never need to ask for help, and while Victory gives us the freedom to do whatever we want, having that group there as a resource is hugely valuable as we navigate the music industry. They are there to open doors, help us fully achieve our vision for the band, and lend me the clout to do things that I would never have been able to do with my own connections.
