Noctum5. Black Sabbath –

Tony Iommi is the master of evil riffs. They have a dark feeling going trough most of their albums. Ozzy Osbourne’s cracking voice does make it even scarier. The song “Black Sabbath” is probably the most evil song ever written. You can’t beat the evil riffs in that song.

4. Mercyful Fate –

Probably the most evil band out there, in my opinion. King Diamond’s voice sounds like he’s possessed, almost psychotic at times. That alter ego is not somebody I would like to meet in a dark ally. Great guitarists and occult lyrics, one hell of a band!

3. Pentagram –

Pentagram does a great job combining dark, vicious tunes with a very energetic vibe. It’s that kind of music that makes you want to headbang, but at the same time perform rituals in the woods. If you’ve never been to a Pentagram show, you have missed out.

2. Coven –

Psychedelic music with occult lyrics. They’re a band that actually admits to having members studying and performing satanic acts. On their first album, Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls, they even ended the album with a satanic mass. I enjoy their music and I think that Jinx is a really talented singer.

1. Taiwaz –

They have been around since the 80’s, but have just recently started playing again. The band Watain’s single “All That May Bleed” featured the Taiwaz cover “Play With The Devil.” Check them out!
