No article about metal movie soundtracks would be complete without mentioning the soundtrack to Aqua Teen Hunger Force. While the movie itself wasn’t all that great, that’s because it blew its (meat)wad in the first five minutes which began with a fake commercial for movie refreshments in which a happy singing hot dog, soft drink and pretzel and popsicle are menaced by haggard looking treats to the tune of Mastodon’s soundtrack contribution “Cut You Up With A Linoleum Knife.” The song explains everything you should do/not do at a movie theater (don’t talk, watch!) with threats of physical violence. The soundtrack also featured original music from Unearth and Early Man alongside the goofiness of the theme song and MC Chris’ “I Want Candy.”
