Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s pandemic column during the ongoing uncertainty behind COVID-19. We ask artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy during these unprecedented times. We caught up with Circa Arcana as they’ve been spending this time writing their first EP.

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine? 

Quarantine has actually been a big blessing for us here at Circa Arcana it gave us time to write our entire first EP as well as really come together and build the sound that will define us in the near future aside from playing shows from Tucson to Houston and so much more we have been grinding endlessly to release our first EP Bridget Viginiti on top of working in the studio to make sure that the second EP goes above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. 

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out? 

We actually created our own playlist with some of our favorite songs and bands on it called “slam daddy” on Spotify. It’s definitely worth listening to. It’ll make you want to punch your mother in the face. We hope that the release of our first ep Bridget Viginti will manifest that same energy. 

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking, including making their own bread. What food have you been prepping during this time? 

PINEAPPLE PIZZA we learned how to use an oven. It was dope. 

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy? 

We are all super heavy on anime and star wars aside from sacrificing innocent souls to the devil we are a bunch of nerds that enjoy a nice and subtle breakdown. 

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time? 

Find something you love and really have a passion for and pursue it to the fullest extent. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY ALWAYS and also listen to CIRCA ARCANA the best band on the planet hands down.
