Last year, it was revealed that Metallica’s Lars Ulrich had been cast in Hemingway And Gellhorn, a HBO film that follows the relationship of Ernest Hemingway (played by Clive Owen) and Martha Gellhorn (played by Nicole Kidman). And somehow, we completely missed the made- for-TV-movie’s trailer that was released last month. Thanks to our pals at Metal Sucks, though, we can still watch our first sneak peek of Ulrich acting beside Kidman and Owen.
However, Ulrich (who plays Dutch documentarian Joris Ivens) only appears in the trailer for a brief second. But he’s still in the trailer long enough to say the line “People from all over the world are heading into Spain!” Guess we’ll just have to wait until the movie airs on HBO in May to see more of the Metallica drummer’s acting chops.
In case you still want to see Ulrich’s brief appearance, or just really want to watch Owen and Kidman get hot and heavy, you can watch the trailer for in Hemingway And Gellhorn above courtesy of Metal Sucks [note: Lars appears around the 38 second mark].
