Late last month, Korn announced that they’d be postponing the majority of their May touring, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” as a result. This was after Robert Trujillo’s son Tye filled in on bass for Fieldy for their South American dates. Even though the bulk of their dates were postponed, they stiil had three festival performances scheduled, including St. Louis’ “Pointfest” tomorrow and Rock on the Range next week. Well, as it turns out, they’re not going to be able to make it tomorrow, and Jonathan Davis apologized in a short video, claiming doctor’s orders that he needs to rest his voice. Here’s what the band says about it:
We regret to announce that we will not be performing at Pointfest this weekend. Jonathan has been given doctor’s orders to rest his vocal cords, and is not able to perform on Saturday. We’re sorry we can’t be there with you and for you, and appreciate your understanding.

It’s not certain whether Davis’ vocal issues are what led the band to scrap the rest of the May dates, as this is the first time they’ve said given any kind of explanation.
