Former Exodus vocalist Rob Dukes  recently spoke with Dan Lorenzo of painfulpleasures.com about tattoos and music and he had some…colorful things to say about his former band mates.
It all started when Lorenzo asked Dukes about the time tattoo artist Bob Tyrrell joined Exodus on stage. After breaking the on the topic of Exodus, the subject moved onto his not so pleasant departure from the legendary thrash metal group.

“F— those douchebags. I never have to talk to them again…or their managers, and that’s such a good thing. It’s like I cut a cancer out of my life.”

It doesn’t seem as if he is dwelling on the situation and is happy building hot rods and writing music with Generation Kill, most recently collaborating with Darryl “D.M.C.” Daniels of the legendary rap act Run DMC on a project called DMC Generation Kill.  You can catch him performing with Generation Kill as well as a bonus set by DMC Generation Kill (featuring Run DMC classics) on November 28th in Clifton, New Jersey.
