All hail Monte Pittman. The onetime Prong guitarist and solo artist has been thrust into the international spotlight via his job as the guitarist for Madonna. In addition to being the touring guitarist of the band, he’s also been teaching Madonna some guitar as well. While she most famously showed off her skills dropping Pantera’s “A New Level” into “Hung Up,” that’s not the only song that Pittman showed her. Over the weekend, the singer used her Instagram account to showcase her playing Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.” Playing a flying V plugged into an Orange amp, she actually does the song justice, or at least doesn’t ruin it. For a 56 year-old mother of four, she’s doing surprisingly well. Will the song make it into her set when the Rebel Heart Tour kicks off in September?
